Kevin Murphy (Book/Lyrics) As lyricist, writer and producer, Kevin won multiple Ovation, Garland and LA Drama Critics Circle Awards for the original LA Reefer production, a Drama Desk nomination Off-Broadway for his lyrics, and shared an Emmy Award for the Show time movie (Outstanding Music and Lyrics). Other theater credits include co-writing Book, Music, and Lyrics for Heathers the Musical, which has been running in London’s West End and/or Touring for the last 5 years. He is currently working on an new musical Dark Lord in London with Laurence O’Keefe. He is also a veteran TV show-runner with credits that include: The Son, Desperate Housewives, Defiance, Caprica, Reaper, Valentine, Hellcats, Honey I Shrunk the Kids (syndicated series), Goosebumps.
Dan Studney (Book/Music) Dan won an Emmy Award as composer for the movie version of Reefer Madness. For the original stage show, he received multiple Ovation, Garland, and LA Drama Critics Circle awards as writer, producer, and composer. He works primarily in film and television, where his writing credits include Jack the Giant Slayer, Weird Science, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Sabrina: The Animated Series, Disney Channel movies Genius and ‘Twas the Night,and comic books for The Simpsons.
Spencer Liff (Director/Choreographer) Spencer is an award winning Director and Choreographer with work frequently seen on stage and screen. He earned two Emmy Nominations for his Choreography on the hit FOX series So You Think You Can Dance? Broadway credits include Head Over Heels, The Lincoln Center revival of Falsettos, Tony Award-Winning revival of Hedwig and The Angry Inch starring Neil Patrick Harris, and the Deaf West Broadway revival of Spring Awakening, for which he won both the LA Ovation Award and LA Drama Critics Circle Award. Mark A. Dahl (Set Design) With over three decades of expertise in live event production, television, and film, Mark is a performer, director, actor, and producer. Co-owner and visionary at DTLA’s Gunn Studio since its inception in 2021, Mark has orchestrated memorable shoots featuring luminaries like Gia Gunn, and Janelle Monáe. He also helmed the transformation of the Chateau Marmont garage into a glamorous nightclub for Beyoncé and Jay Z’s exclusive Oscar party in 2019. For the past 13 years, Mark has left an indelible mark on the famed Miss’d America Pageant as a writer and director. He also directed the Vegas-style show “Divas Do AC.” Mark’s creative portfolio includes short films, music videos, and theatrical events, and he has served as a production designer for eight television series. Currently, Mark is putting the final touches on his short film “Wee Willy Winkie,” featuring Laganja Estranja, and developing two original series under Meret Productions at The Lot at Formosa in Hollywood.
Matt Richter (Lighting Design) Matt Richter is an award-winning designer based in Los Angeles. He serves as the full time technical director and designer in residence for the LA LGBT Center. He has designed for numerous companies around the Los Angeles area, including Rogue Machine, The Echo, Open Fist, Theatre of NOTE, Sacred Fools and Son of Semele. Matt also scores music as auto dealer (autodealermusic.net) and as a duo with Jason Lamoreaux under the name Transverse. He lives in the Valley with his wife and two cats. Charles Glaudini (Sound Design) He/Him. Charles Glaudini is a sound designer and music director based in LA. Favorite credits include: Mystic Pizza (La Mirada Theatre, Tour), The Little Mermaid (Musical Theatre West), Driver’s Seat (Theatre Planners, West Coast Premiere), Bhangin’ It (La Jolla Playhouse). He holds a BA in Music from UCSD, and an MFA in Sound Design from CalArts. Pinwheel Pinwheel (Costume Design) (Max Archimedes Levitt) is a fabulous Costume Designer and Drag Clown. Their costumes have been featured on programs such as RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV, VH1), Dragula (Shudder), and Legendary (HBO). Additionally their work has been seen all over Broadway as a Fabric Dyer and Custom Costume Maker: Lion King, Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, Once Upon a One More Time etc. Their wild clown drag performance and direction of Unforgivable Emotional Carnivore at Off-Broadway theater, The Cell brought a new flavor of nonsense to NYC.
